We have been blessed, for 7 years now, by the chaplaincy of Fr. Michael McClellan. Father is a precious leader, colleague, and dear friend. Over the weekend, the Archdiocese shared new priest appointments for next year, and our dear friend is being reassigned.
We will have ample opportunity to celebrate Father’s tenure here before he departs for his new assignment this summer. He certainly leaves an outstanding legacy for his successor.
And I am happy to share that news of a full-time chaplain successor has also been shared: Fr. Connor McGinnis, currently parochial vicar at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, will join us. He comes very highly recommended, and he has already expressed to me gratitude for the work of Fr. McClellan at PA. He is excited to inherit such a legacy, and to shepherd us beginning next year. We will look forward to welcoming Fr. McGinnis with open arms.
Athletics Director Appointed to MSHSL Board
I am pleased to announce that PA’s Athletics Director Daren Messmore has been appointed the Region 4A representative on the Minnesota State High School League’s Board of Directors.
