Providence Academy Parent Association
OPEN POSITIONS AND NOMINATION PROCESS
The chief purpose of the Association shall be to support Providence Academy’s philosophy, mission, and curriculum. Other purposes are to support, organize, and develop events and activities; to coordinate parent volunteerism, to assist in fundraising activities in cooperation with the Advancement Office, and to facilitate communication between the school and parents.
For the 2017-2018 school year, there are two open positions on the Executive Committee: Vice President, and Vice President of the Lower School. Each position is a 2 year term commitment, starting on July 1, 2017 and ending on June 30, 2019.
Vice President, Upper School
The Vice President of Upper School shall: preside at grade level representative meetings, keep accurate record and communications of those meetings, and represent the grades’ interests at Executive Committee meetings.
Parents and guardians of Providence Academy students are invited to nominate themselves or others within the parent community for a position on the Providence Academy Parent Association Executive Committee. The nomination deadline concludes on Monday, May 22, 2017 and at that time the Executive Committee will vet candidates to fill the open positions.

There are three open PAPA executive committee positions for the 2017-2018 school year: President, Vice President, and Vice President of the Lower School.

Contributions need to be received at school by Wednesday, December 14. PAPA kindly asks you to consider making a contribution.
