Providence Academy Parent Association

PAPA

The chief purpose of PAPA is to support, organize and develop events and activities, coordinate parent volunteerism, to assist in fundraising activities in cooperation with the Development Office, and to facilitate communication between the school and parents. All Providence Academy parents are a member in the association. The PAPA Executive Board consists of eight parents, selected by parents, and one faculty member, appointed by the Headmaster.

The 2024-25 PAPA Executive Committee

Mrs. Debbie Larson, President

Debbie Larson and her husband Michael have one daughter at Providence. Lexie started Providence in Pre-K and will graduate in 2028. Debbie is honored to serve as your PA PAPA president. She has worked in technology her entire career. She started out of college with her company and continues to work for CDW via an acquisition.

Mrs. Hilary Sanborn, Executive Vice President

Mrs. Hilary Sanborn is in her second year serving as Vice President.  She and her husband, Nick, have four children at Providence Academy.  Their oldest, Matthew, is entering 8th grade in the Middle School while their younger children are all in the lower school.  David is in 6th grade, Elizabeth is in 5th grade and Peter is in 3rd grade. Hilary has been involved at PA by serving as a classroom representative in her children's classes.

Mrs. Nichole Schelitzche, Vice President - Middle School

Mrs. Nichole Schelitzche is in her first year serving as Vice President – Middle School.  She and her husband, Andy, have two children at Providence.  Zoey is in 7th grade and Zach is in 4th grade. Nichole has been involved at PA by serving as a room parent, helping with Grandparents’ Day, Fall Fun Fair and served 3 years as the Gala Chair.

Mrs. Sadar Lingam, Vice President - Lower School (Grades 3-5)

Mrs. Sadar Lingam is serving as Vice President for Lower School (3rd through 5th grade) on the PAPA Board. She and her husband, Karteek, have two sons at Providence Academy—Nihal in 4th grade and Sahil in 2nd grade—both of whom began their journey at PA in Pre-K. Sadar has a deep love for the Providence Academy community and has eagerly embraced opportunities to give back through volunteering. Her involvement includes the Family Fun Fair, Sock Hop, Ice Cream Social, School Tours, and Grandparents’ Day. Sadar has also led the Family Service Project for the past three years and has chaperoned many field trips.

Mrs. Brittany Lada, Vice President - Lower School (Grades Pre-K-2)

Mrs. Brittany Lada has two children at Providence Academy in the lower school – Jackson is in 3rd grade and Madelyn is in 1st grade. After being warmly welcomed into the PA community, Brittany has made it her mission to pay that forward and make as many families feel the Lion community pride! Brittany has spent many hours volunteering  as a classroom parent, helping with Grandparents day, and a member of the Fall Fun Fair committee.

Mrs. Lauren O’Neil, Secretary

Mrs. Lauren O’Neil is proud to be serving as PAPA Secretary this term.  Lauren and her husband, Michael, have three daughters at Providence Academy.  Emma is in 7th grade, Abby is in 5th grade and Mackenzie is in 3rd grade.  Lauren has been involved in volunteering at the school in roles such as classroom representative, helping with Grandparent’s Day and chairing the LS Fall Fun Fair.

Mr. Peter Schnobrich, Treasurer

Mr. Peter Schnobrich serves as the PAPA Treasurer. Peter and his wife Liz have two children who attend Providence, both entering their 4th year at the school. Peter is the CFO of a privately-held bank and has experience managing the finances of multiple non-profit organizations. Peter is a veteran and retired from active duty after 21-years of service as an officer in the US Air Force.
