Our First Fundraising Priority
Paying for a PA education is a highly significant element of the commitment that our families make while their students are enrolled. But you may not know that tuition does not cover the cost of educating our students—in fact it covers about 85% of the expense.
The Annual Fund functions to help bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the true expense of educating students, providing essential support for the annual operating expenses of the school.
Annual Fund donations allow us to continually provide an exceptional academic experience through small class sizes, exceptionally talented faculty, and maintaining world-class facilities. They support excellence in visual arts, music, theater, and athletics, enriching students’ learning experiences. And they help keep tuition increases lower while providing financial aid for students with demonstrated need.
Since the funds are used in the year in which they are received, the Annual Fund is our first priority for fundraising each year. Gifts made to the Annual Fund benefit all areas of the school and every Providence Academy student. An independent school education requires investment in both tuition and philanthropy and all families are asked to participate to the extent of their ability.
