First Step: Experience Providence Academy

Request an Information Packet
If you are still early in your journey, requesting an information packet is a great opportunity to learn more about Providence and discuss opportunities with your family at home.  You may request an information packet through our Enrollment Coordinator, Mrs. Susan Truax, by calling (763) 258-2502 or by sending her an email.

Attend an Admissions Event
Providence offers various opportunities throughout the year to attend an admissions event.  Families at any point in the application process are encouraged to attend an event as they offer an opportunity to tour our campus, speak with students and parents, and discuss opportunities with our faculty and staff.

Schedule a Personal Tour 
For families who would like to experience a more personalized introduction to Providence Academy, we offer private tours daily.  This opportunity allows your family to get all of your questions about Providence answered in a more intimate environment while also having a chance to see Providence.

Second Step: Apply and Submit Documents

Complete the Online Application Process
We have created a dedicated Apply Now page to help make the application process as painless as possible. If you have any questions before or during the application process, please contact the Admissions Office by calling (763) 258-2502 or by sending an email.

Schedule Interviews and Testing
Once you have had a chance to complete your application, a Providence Admissions Team member will contact you to schedule parent and student interviews as well as your student’s entrance exam.  We are pleased to accommodate interviews and testing at the same scheduled appointment time.

We administer a developmental assessment for students entering Pre-K, the Admission Assessment for Beginning Learners (AABL) for students entering Kindergarten and 1st grade, and the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) for students entering 2nd grade through 12th grade.

Submit Transcripts and Referrals
The final items required for admission consideration are transcripts from the past two full school years and teacher referral forms.  Below are the items required for your student based on the grade he or she will be entering:

•  All Applicants
    Request for Records (Transcripts from past 2 years)

•  Students Entering Pre-K to 5th Grade
    Teacher Referral Form (1 form from current teacher)

•  Students Entering 6th Grade to 12th Grade
    Math Teacher Referral Form (1 form from current Math teacher)
    English Teacher Referral Form (1 form from current English teacher)

After Applying: Admission Decision Timeline

Priority Deadline and Rolling Admissions
Once all required admissions steps have been taken, the Providence Academy Admissions Committee will review your admissions files and contact you with further information.

The priority consideration deadline for applications is January 6 and all other steps must be completed by January 29th for the priority consideration for the 2021-22 school year. All applications and materials submitted after the priority deadline are reviewed on a rolling basis as long as space remains available.
