Biography

Mrs. Debra Spears currently serves as the Middle School Dean of Students and Coordinator of the PA Summer Activities.  She also teaches a variety of courses throughout the Academy’s three Divisions. Before joining the Providence Academy faculty, Mrs. Spears worked for General Mills in finance and accounting.  While at General Mills she gained practical business skills and knowledge, which are assets to the courses she teaches and roles that she plays at Providence.  Mrs. Spears received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and General Management from Purdue University.

Biography

Mrs. Sally Nathe serves as the Enrollment Coordinator at Providence Academy. Her role includes admissions, enrollment, and day visit coordination. She joined the staff in 2000, one year prior to the inaugural school year. Mrs. Nathe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the College of St. Benedict.

Biography

Susan Truax joined the Providence Academy team in May of 2008. Her responsibilities included supporting the Middle School Director, main receptionist, attendance point person for Lower and Middle school, as well as providing customer service for families. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, with a major in Elementary Education. Susan Truax has taught Title I, spent many years working in the customer service industry, and was the  Recruitment Specialist and Coordinator for a Mentoring Program prior to her employment at Providence. She joined the admissions department as an Admissions Assistant in June of 2013. She is the point person for admissions inquiries,leading prospective families on tours, assisting families through the admissions process, and helping plan and execute admissions events.
