Extended Day at Providence Academy
The school day ends, and the afternoon keeps its shape: a snack, time to run, help with homework, and unhurried play with familiar faces. Full-time care, part-time care, and occasional drop-in care are all available, with students divided into groups according to age.
New for 2026–27: Lower School dismissal has moved earlier, so Extended Day now begins earlier too. Programs start the moment the bell rings.
Three programs, one hand-off
Students walk from their classroom straight into their program. Choose the one that matches your child’s grade and how long you need the afternoon covered.
Little Pals and Kidventures run Monday through Friday. Homework Club runs Monday through Thursday.

Little Pals
Pre-KindergartenLittle Pals is designed for our Pre-Kindergarten friends, who go straight from their classroom to a snack and a change of pace. The afternoon moves between recess, free play, and organized activity times, with the same familiar adults each day.

Kidventures
Kindergarten – Grade 5Kidventures is designed for our Kindergarten through fifth grade friends, with students separated into groups according to age so a kindergartner’s afternoon looks different from a fifth grader’s. Each day includes a daily snack, homework time, recess, free play, and organized activity times.

Homework Club
Grades 2 – 5Homework Club is designed for our second through fifth grade friends who are looking for a quiet space to complete their homework. Students get a snack and a stretch of quiet work time, with limited help from adult leaders and Upper School student helpers who sit alongside them.
