Every several years, Ash Wednesday and Valentine’s Day coincide. There’s a meme of the omnipresent little chalky heart candies that usually have a cute sentiment abbreviated on them, but the one in the meme says “remember u r dust!” February 14 is Ash Wednesday again this year and the start of the solemn season of Lent. Grades 2-12 will attend chapel services during the school day at Providence Academy. Due to seating capacity, we are, sadly, unable to invite parents or other guests to these services. Please note that there will not be a Mass after school at 3:30 on February 14. Fr. McClellan will impose ashes for grades Prek-1 in their classrooms.
