As a reminder, 2026-27 registration is open for both the ACT and SAT. These national test sittings occur offsite on select Saturdays throughout the year. Those interested in taking the SAT should be cognizant of registering early, as seats are limited in Minnesota (especially in the Twin Cities). For the PA-hosted ACT and PSAT/NMSQT, we would like to reiterate our fall in-school testing dates:

  • Tuesday, October 13th: ACT at Providence Academy for juniors (registered automatically but may opt out) and seniors (opt-in only). This ACT will include the Science section and be administered during regular school hours. The deadline for senior ACT registration is Thursday, September 3rd.
  • Thursday, October 15th: PSAT/NMSQT at Providence Academy for opt-in juniors only (sophomores will have the opportunity to take a practice PSAT in April 2027). Please note that this is the Thursday of MEA Break. Juniors interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT should thus plan ahead to ensure their travel plans do not conflict with testing on the morning of 10/15/2026. Please register here ahead of the September 25th deadline.

Please direct any questions to your assigned college counselor, who can also assist you with developing a college entrance testing plan for the years ahead.
