No Grinch of a pandemic will stop PA from observing these holy seasons! The lights are being hung today on our iconic front-walkway Christmas tree. The tree in the Great Room was decked out over the weekend. Advent wreaths are being lit in the chapel, the Performing Arts Center, and many classrooms. In December, much music will be made and recorded for your at-home enjoyment; the shows must go on! Santa will come (he always does!). The Holy Family and shepherds will patiently await the coming of the Christ child to our creches, outside and in the chapel. As I write these words, the Upper School Concert Band is rehearsing “Winter Wonderland” down from my window. All seems right with the world when we turn our eyes toward the coming Christ.
