Providence Academy is taking applications for substitute teachers at all grade levels. We often find our best hires through community referrals. If you know someone who is qualified and interested in becoming a substitute teacher at P.A., encourage the person to contact Mrs. Gregory at . Substitutes may request to be placed on the call list for days that fit their schedules. Substitutes may also specify areas of experience for assignments (i.e. lower grades, middle school, upper grades, art, music, etc.)
We are also looking for a regular substitute (part-time/hourly position) to commit to being at school daily for a variety of assignments that may come up during each day.
Qualifications include:
- Strong support of school’s Catholic mission and focus
- Experience with teaching or managing groups of students
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Elementary teaching experience is required for grades K – 5.
