I am following up on a message from the beginning of Christmas break regarding social-media ads alleging a network security incident at Providence Academy. We conducted an investigation of the allegations with the assistance of cybersecurity counsel and technical experts, and can report to you that the purported network security incident does not involve our institution in any way. There are bad actors in the world, but we were not the victims of this particular crime. It is a terrible shame that some tried to capitalize on false allegations that we were the victims.
