invitational events in 2025 and made another strong showing on Saturday afternoon at the Metro Regional Tournament. A few specific shout outs to: 6th graders, Alex E and Andrei D, who took first place in Disease Detectives; 8th grader Kavish K partnered with Andrei D, who took 2nd place in Anatomy and Physiology; 7th grader Audrey O and 6th grader Ronny F, who took 2nd place in the Hovercraft race; 7th grader Tommy O and 6th grader Emma T, who took 3rd place in Crimebusters. Congratulations to all team members!
Science Olympiad is a national competitive STEM league, which engages students grade 6-12 in 20+ events including biology, chemistry, physics and engineering. Students place in individual events, which earns points for their team. Students have prepared for their events since October.
The team will compete at the state tournament at the end of February.
