Congratulations to our team’s efforts and results in the Section 6AA Track & Field meet that was held at Orono High School this past Tuesday and Thursday. Our girls’ team became the Section 6AA Champions, winning by 1.5 points over Benilde. Our boys’ team placed eighth in the meet. We also accomplished our team goal from this meet which was to qualify as many athletes as possible to the State Track & Field Meet. Our team will have 9 athletes advancing to the State Meet in 7 different events on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10.
“I am so very proud of all the athletes! They have put a lot of hard work and time into the season. They are truly a complete joy to work with. I feel very blessed to be their coach”, said Head Coach Amy Hohenecker.
