Congratulations to Brooke Hohenecker and Maddyn Greenway for qualifying and competing in the Hamline Elite Meet that was held at Hamline University on April 28. Brooke competed in the 100m Dash and placed 11th overall with a time of 12.72. Hohenecker also competed in the 200m Dash and placed 5th with a time of 25.95. Maddyn competed in the 100m Hurdles and placed 7th with a time of 15.86. Greenway also competed in the 300m Hurdles and placed 3rd with a time of 45.13. Congratulations to the girls!
There will be a Track & Field meet held in Sioux Falls, SD this coming weekend, May 5-6. This is the Howard Wood Dakota Relays, where over 3,000 athletes from a five state area join to compete. Congratulations to Brooke Hohenecker who was selected by the Howard Wood games committee to compete in the Girls Special Event 200m Dash. Brooke was one of eight girls chosen for this honor. She will be competing in the event on Friday, May 5. Good luck, Brooke!
The Lions’ next track meet is on Tuesday, May 2 at Providence Academy where the team will compete against Benilde-St. Margaret, St. Agnes and International School. The meet starts at 5:00 PM.
