Please join the PAPA Board on Friday, May 1st in the Board Room from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM for our annual meeting.
During this time, we will share exciting highlights from the 2025-2026 school year, discuss open PAPA Executive Board positions for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years, and provide an overview of volunteer opportunities, including leadership roles for PAPA’s events and activities.
PAPA Executive Board Mission:
The mission of the PAPA Executive Board is to support Providence Academy’s philosophy, mission, and curriculum. Our primary goals include:
- Supporting, organizing, and developing events and activities
- Coordinating parent volunteerism
- Assisting in fundraising activities in cooperation with the Development Office
- Facilitating communication between the school and parents
Board Positions Open (2-Year Term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028):
Treasurer
- Prepares yearly budget, receives and disperses funds.
- Keeps an accurate record of those receipts and disbursements.
- No need to be an accountant – anyone who knows how to balance their checkbook and write a check is qualified
Secretary
- Records minutes during our monthly meeting
- Assists with other correspondence as needed.
Lower School VP (Grades PK-2)
- Preside over grade-level representation meetings
- Meet with Lower School leadership as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communication related to Lower School events
- Represent the interests of grades PreK-2
Middle School VP (Grades 6-8)
- Preside over grade-level representation meetings
- Meet with Middle School leadership as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communication related to Middle School events
- Represent the interests of grades 6-8
