Running Club! (Grade 3-5) – Begins 4/22
Get together with friends this Spring and RUN!
2nd – 5th Grade students will gather after dismissal to learn how to prepare for a run by stretching. They run under the supervision of Mrs. Hickert & Ms. O’Brien and enjoy fun & games with their friends.
Ultimate Frisbee ( Grade 5 only) – Begins 4/2
A competitive club team. Ultimate is a field sport played on a football-style field with end zones. Teams compete to catch the disc in the end zone to score a point. Minnesota is home to the largest youth league in the country and our team will have a coach, jerseys and will play against area middle schools. The season will culminate in a tournament.
Chess Club (Grade 2-5) – Begins week of 4/8
New and returning students invited. Learn, Practice and Play chess each class. The {YEL!} Teach It! Practice It! Play It!® method keeps students on track with new chess lessons and puzzles each week as well as guided games and in-class tournaments. Class fee includes ChessKid.com membership for the session ($49 annual value).
