Impromptu Fire Drill This Afternoon

A little extra heat under a cooking dish afforded us an impromptu fire drill this afternoon at 2:45. Fortunately, it was not raining, and everybody comported themselves precisely as trained.  A plus in all this: the fire drill we had scheduled for tomorrow is now unnecessary!
