Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine for People Ages 16 and 17
This new MDH document offers guidance on vaccinations for US students.
If your Upper School student is vaccinated, here are some reminders:
- If they are identified as a close contact and it has been 2 weeks since their last vaccine and they do not have symptoms, they do not quarantine.
- If they are identified as a close contact and develop symptoms, they need to stay home and follow the MDH Decision Tree.
Schools throughout MN are seeing student cases rising. Continue to watch for symptoms in your child, keep them home when they are sick, and use the MDH Decision Tree to determine if they need to be tested. When one member of a family is tested, all family members stay home until the results are known.
