For several years the Lower School at PA has partnered with the Archdiocese and Living Water as part of our Lenten almsgiving. This service project helps our young students to recognize needs in the larger world. Your student will receive a Living Water calendar with information, prayers and daily reflections, and a Living Water bottle to “collect change to bring about change” for a better life for those in Kitui, Kenya. Please reflect on the calendar’s daily entry as instructed by your teacher, and consider fasting from beverages other than water while eating out or ordering takeaway, putting the money you otherwise would have spent in your water bottle. Participation is entirely optional for each student/family. The collections will take place February 22-March 12. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
