Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children is a powerful way to make a real difference by helping pack nutritious meals for children in need around the world. When your family joins a packing session, you’ll work together and with others in the community, to hand assemble meals. These meals are then sent to communities around the world where hunger is a daily challenge. Packing these meals is a hands-on service experience that brings people together for a meaningful cause and shows how teamwork and compassion can help fight global hunger.
*Feed My Starving Children Age Requirements and Volunteer Rules:
-Minimum age: children must be at least 5 years old to participate in meal packing sessions. Children under 5 years of age are not allowed in the packing area for safety reasons.
-We require the following parent to student ratios:
– Grades K-2: 1 student to 1 adult
– Grades 3-6: 3 students to 1 adult
– Grades: 7-12: 4 students to 1 adult
-Adult supervision: Everyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older when volunteering.
