We are honored and delighted that the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation in Nashville have assigned an additional member of the Order to Providence next year! We will welcome Sister Anne Thérèse Wilder, who grew up in St. Cloud and who will be teaching Second Grade.

And, thanks to the generosity of a longtime Providence Academy family –and by permission of both Mother Anna Grace and Archbishop Hebda– both Sister Amelia and Sister Anne Thérèse will have a new convent in Plymouth to call home starting in Fall 2025!

The Nick and AmyJo Schaffer family in large part gifted their family home to Providence Academy in Fall 2023 with the hope that it would one day become a home for clergy or religious Brothers or Sisters at Providence Academy. This hope will now be realized in full. The Mother of Divine Providence Convent will enable both Sisters to reside very near the school, and make possible a fuller and richer engagement of their religious lives right here in Plymouth–to the great benefit of us all.

Join me in welcoming Sister Anne Thérèse as we share in this exciting development for Providence Academy.

St. Cecilia, pray for us!
