Spring is here and I hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend and spring break. Spring also means that the start of the 2024 Football Season is not that far off. I would like to take this opportunity to put out some information about what is coming up over the next couple months:
2024 Season Player and Parent Meeting
Sunday May 5th 5:00 PM in the West Lutheran High School Gym.
The meeting is open to all parents and players who will be in grades 9-12 next fall and playing Varsity & C-Team Football in 2024. I strongly encourage as many parents to attend the meeting as possible. We will cover multiple items, but the main purposes of the meeting are the following:
- Go over the program’s philosophy, my vision for Lions Football going forward.
- Cover the summer schedule: from workouts, to practices, 7 on 7 scrimmages, and schedule all the way up to the start of August two a day practices.
- In-season: schedule and player expectations.
Summer Practice Dates
We will cover more information about the practice schedule at the meeting, but I want to get the dates about to you now so you can plan your vacations and summer activities as best you can. New this year, summer practices will be held from 10AM-Noon on the stadium turf.
Summer Dates: June 12-13, 18-20 & July: 9-11, 23-25
