PSAT Scores in Maia Learning

If you took the PSAT/NMSQT on Saturday, October 11th, your scores are now available in your MaiaLearning account. Simply log in, navigate to the “Academics” tab, and then select “Test Scores.” You can also create a College Board account and subsequently view your scores here. Please be advised that the credentials you used to take the PSAT on 10/11/25 were temporary, so you will need to create an entirely new College Board account if you haven’t done so already.

For Juniors: Upcoming Programs and Individual Meetings

In January, we will continue utilizing the Maia Learning platform to help students explore their purpose and chart their course beyond Providence Academy) along with the start of individual junior meetings. Unless students schedule their meeting in December, all juniors will receive a calendar invitation to meet with their assigned counselor either during a study period or before or after school in January.

Parents interested in our annual College Financial Aid Presentation should note that we will host our speaker virtually on Thursday, December 4 at 8:45 a.m. CST via Google Meet. With the FAFSA opening on October 1, the information will be presented by Mr. Chris George, VP for Enrollment at St. Olaf College. Mr. George will lead parents through the financial aid application process, which formally begins in the winter of senior year. He will review the two major financial aid applications, the FAFSA, required by nearly all colleges, and the CSS Profile, a second application required at approximately 300 colleges nationwide (typically well-endowed private colleges that distribute significant institutional funds in the form of need-based grants). For further reading, we recommend The Financial Aid Handbook, Revised Edition: Getting the Education You Want for the Price You Can Afford by Carol Stack and Ruth Vedvik, at a minimum, read Chapter 4 (students) or Chapter 5 (parents).
