Congratulations to Junior, Alex Kosel who won the 500 Freestyle and second place in the 50 freestyle to advance to the State Swim Meet in both his events. Alex was also named swimmer of the year in Section 5AA
The boys did awesome on Saturday and qualified in 2 relays and 4 individual swims to go to state. We have a few of those seeded in the top 16 and a couple right at the 17/18 spot so it will be interesting to see what happens!
The section team was also the only team in 5AA to earn a gold academic award for an average gpa of 3.75 or higher. We’ve got a pretty amazing group of boys!!
The State Team is: Alex Creek (Osseo), Peyton Fahrenbrach (Osseo), Brennen Horbal (Osseo), Alex Kosel (Providence), Brandon Kot (MCA), Mason Krings (MCA), Brady Landstad (MCA), and Jonathan Somero (Osseo).
