Hello Middle School Parents,
I hope you and your families have been enjoying a restful and fun summer! It’s hard to believe, but the new school year is just around the corner, and we’re getting excited to welcome all of our middle school students back to campus in less than a month.
I’m also delighted to share that we have hired Shanon McGraw as our new Middle School Assistant. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team and know she will be a wonderful fit for our students and school community.
Enclosed you’ll find some important paperwork to help us prepare for a smooth and successful start — thank you in advance for taking the time to complete and return it. We can’t wait to see everyone soon!

Getting Started
Middle School OrientationMonday, August 31
- New students & all 6th graders — 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Students check in at the front entrance in uniform and are brought to their first classroom, where they’ll receive locker assignments and schedules. They’ll then walk through the building to meet each of their teachers and learn where classrooms are located, finishing with lunch (provided by Providence Academy), noon prayer, and dismissal.
- Returning 7th & 8th graders — anytime from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. This takes about 20–30 minutes. Upon arrival, please go straight to the PAC lobby to pick up schedules, locker assignments, and a Chromebook if you’re renting one from the school.

Attendance Matters
Reporting an Absence
To report a student absence, late arrival, or early dismissal, please use one of the following:
Infinite Campus
Use the Absence Request Portal in the Campus Parent app. After logging in, select More, then Absence Requests, to submit your request. Requests submitted through Infinite Campus are monitored until 9:00 AM each school day; after 9:00 AM, please contact Ms. Shanon McGraw directly.

Picture Day with Slow Road PhotoThursday, September 10 · Grades Pre-K–8
- All students should be in full uniform for their pictures.
- No pre-ordering or pre-paying.
- You’ll receive an email directly from Slow Road with a link to your student’s gallery, where you can choose the images and products you’d like to order.
- Add to your contacts so you receive all communications and ordering information.
- Helpful resources, including a Welcome Message and Parents’ Guide, are available on the Slow Road website.

2026–2027 District Funding Forms
Each school year, we ask parents to complete forms that allow Providence Academy to receive funds supported by your tax dollars — funds otherwise directed toward public schools. PA uses these funds to purchase textbooks and to support the Health Services and Guidance departments for the benefit of our students.
Again this year, we’ve simplified the process: just click below to complete the three-question form electronically. We appreciate your prompt attention.
Student Wellness
Health Office
The Providence Academy Health Office is staffed full time by a licensed school nurse. In addition to assessing the needs of students who become ill or need first aid while at school, Health Office staff administer medications, maintain required health records, and coordinate care for students with ongoing injuries or health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or food allergies.
A Cherished Tradition
Grandparents’ & Special Persons’ DayThursday, October 1 · 9:15–11:00 AM
One of Providence Academy’s most cherished traditions, Grandparents’ & Special Persons’ Day invites guests to arrive between 8:45 and 9:15 AM for a special morning. It includes photos with their student(s), a campus tour, and the opportunity to attend a session alongside their student(s). The event concludes at 11:00 AM.

Providence Academy Parent Association
The chief purpose of the Providence Academy Parent Association (PAPA) is to support, organize, and develop events and activities, coordinate parent volunteerism, facilitate communication between the school and parents, and assist in fundraising activities in conjunction with the Development Office. Every Providence Academy parent is a member. The PAPA Executive Board consists of eight parents and one faculty/staff member, appointed by the Headmaster.
