Dear Upper School Families,
I hope this email finds you enjoying your summer together. We have been busy preparing for your return in the fall and are very excited for what the 2026–2027 school year will bring. This email replaces the paper summer packet and forms you’ve received in the past — simply read through and click the links below to add your submissions. We hope you find this a more convenient way to receive and return this information.

Getting Started
Upper School OrientationTuesday, September 1
- Students new to PA and all 9th grade students: at school from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.
- Returning students in grades 10–12: drop in any time between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
All Upper School students are required to be in full uniform for Orientation. This includes haircut and color for both young ladies and young men, and grooming of facial hair for young men.

Picture Day with Slow Road PhotoTuesday, September 1 · Grades 9–12
- All students should be in full uniform for their pictures.
- No pre-ordering or pre-paying.
- You’ll receive an email directly from Slow Road with a link to your student’s gallery, where you can choose the images and products you’d like to order.
- Add to your contacts so you receive all communications and ordering information.
- Helpful resources, including a Welcome Message and Parents Guide, are available on the Slow Road website.

2025–2026 District Funding Forms
Each school year, we ask parents to complete forms that allow Providence Academy to receive funds supported by your tax dollars — funds otherwise directed toward public schools. PA uses these funds to purchase textbooks and to support the Health Services and Guidance departments for the benefit of our students.
Again this year, we’ve simplified the process: just click below to complete the three-question form electronically. We appreciate your prompt attention.
Student Drivers
Student Parking 2026–2027
Any student who drives to school and parks on Providence Academy property must register their vehicle and display a 2026–2027 parking permit in the vehicle’s window. Once registered, a student driver is issued one permit valid for both the primary and secondary vehicle listed.

All fees are charged to the student’s account. Driving to and from Providence Academy and parking in its lot is a privilege, not a right. Student drivers who fail to drive safely or to respect PA’s rules and property — or the property of others — may have their parking permit suspended or revoked.
Student Wellness
Health Office
The Providence Academy Health Office is staffed full time by a licensed school nurse. In addition to assessing the needs of students who become ill or need first aid while at school, Health Office staff administer medications, maintain required health records, and coordinate care for students with ongoing injuries or health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or food allergies.
A Cherished Tradition
Grandparents’ & Special Persons’ DayThursday, October 1 · 1:15–3:00 PM
One of Providence Academy’s most cherished traditions, Grandparents’ & Special Persons’ Day invites guests to arrive between 1:15 and 1:40 PM for a special afternoon. It includes a photo opportunity with their student(s), the chance to attend an interest session together, and a performance by our Fine Arts ensembles. The event concludes at 3:00 PM.

Providence Academy Parent Association
The chief purpose of the Providence Academy Parent Association (PAPA) is to support, organize, and develop events and activities, coordinate parent volunteerism, facilitate communication between the school and parents, and assist in fundraising activities in conjunction with the Development Office. Every Providence Academy parent is a member. The PAPA Executive Board consists of eight parents and one faculty/staff member, appointed by the Headmaster.
