Our Lower School Spring Service Project will look a little different this year as we offer more flexible ways for our school community to serve. We know schedules can be busy, so families can choose the option that works best for them: donate current high-need items to our community Interfaith Outreach Food shelf at your convenience or volunteer your time at one of the two scheduled dates to help pack meals for the Feed My Starving Children Organization. No matter which option you choose, your family’s involvement will make a meaningful impact in fighting hunger in our community and beyond.

If you are interested in participating, please review the information below outlining the two options available for involvement.

Option One: Donate high-need items to Interfaith Outreach Organization in Plymouth.

*Donating high-needed items to the Interfaith Outreach Food shelf in Plymouth, is a meaningful way to directly support neighbors in our local community. High- need items such as shelf-stable proteins and hygiene products help ensure that families can access nutritious meals and essential household necessities. This option can be done by donating any of the current high-need items to the Interfaith Outreach Organization at your convenience. Please drop off directly at Interfaith Outreach.

Interfaith Outreach Organization Address: 1605 County Road 101 N, Plymouth, MN 55447

Option Two: Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids on February 14th 12:00-1:15 or March 7th 12:00-1:45

*Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children is a powerful way to make a real difference by helping pack nutritious meals for children in need around the world. When your family joins a packing session, you’ll work together and with others in the community, to hand assemble meals. These meals are then sent to communities around the world where hunger is a daily challenge. Packing these meals is a hands-on service experience that brings people together for a meaningful cause and shows how teamwork and compassion can help fight global hunger.
