Tomorrow, Providence Academy’s front lawn will be adorned with flags to represent each of the innocent lives taken during the terrorist attacks on our country of September 11, 2001. Each year now, in remembrance of this pivotal national event and in honor of all first-responding heroes who put their lives on the line to serve, PA hosts a special moment. Our local first responders in the Plymouth Police and Fire Departments do a ceremonial drive-through of our flag-adorned property. Our students, faculty, and staff line the front drive to show honor. This signature event takes place tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. Parents are welcome to join; if you wish to do so, please park in advance in our front parking lot and meet in front of the school.
A very special thank you to all the parent and student volunteers who represented PA at this weekend’s James J. Hill Days events, and to those who attended the festivities in support of our school. A fantastic weekend!
Our next big parade, in Plymouth, is on Saturday, September 22. See the Admissions announcement in the All School Section for more participation details!
We now have an opportunity for more families within our community to deepen their faith life with the launch of the Parent Bible Study webpage. Our own Dr. Arthur Hippler teaches it, and his Bible lectures are rich and engaging. It’s all in a new audio library containing the current and previous Bible study sessions. It’s a great option for those who are unable to join the guided scripture study that happens at school during the workday. In case you’re still interested in joining the fall session, registration is available. See the post in the All School section for further details.
