Free Screening about Pope Saint John Paul II on June 27

“Religious Freedom Week” is observed later this month, and PA is partnering with the Minnesota Catholic Conference for a special event in our Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, June 27. Pope Saint John Paul II was arguably the 20th century’s greatest witness to the power of faith and freedom working together for the common good. We will screen an outstanding documentary film, Liberating a Continent, which chronicles his leadership in freeing central and eastern Europe from the scourge of communism. Afterward, Jason Adkins of the Catholic Conference and I will lead a discussion on themes of the film. All are invited, free of charge, to this event. See the event flier for more information.

Help Us Send Off Our Seniors This Friday

Today, we were 73 students shy of our usual headcount. Before we dismissed for the holiday weekend, our seniors completed the last of their exams. The Class of 2018 is now enjoying a few final days as PA students before they officially become PA alumni. We invite you to join us in celebrating this year’s graduates by tuning in to the livestream of the Commencement Ceremony, which will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, in our beautiful Performing Arts Center. Congratulations, Class of 2018!
