Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our collaborative Lower School team for the 2026-27 school year. This is a unique opportunity to shape a child’s foundational educational experience, fostering a lifelong love for learning through engaging, intentional guided instruction, and hands-on teaching methods. The ideal candidate is a patient and resourceful educator who can adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs and build strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in literacy, numeracy, religion, history, and science that align with our school’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
- Foster a positive and safe classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development, cooperation, and a sense of belonging for all students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including games, music, art, and technology, to accommodate different learning styles and keep students engaged.
- Monitor and assess student progress through observation and formal assessments, adapting instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain regular and open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, development, and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other staff members and specialists (e.g., in Spanish, library, music, physical education) to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide programs.
- Supervise students during lessons, recess, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school community events.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Committed, practicing Catholic, enthusiastic about living, modeling and teaching the Catholic faith.
- Elementary teaching experience
- Holds a B.A./B.S. or higher-level degree
- Professional, polished demeanor
- Ability to develop rapport with students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to communicate well with parents/guardians of students
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, creativity, flexibility, and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Preferred:
- State teaching certification/license for kindergarten or elementary education.
- Experience with specific teaching methodologies (e.g., science of reading , project-based learning, hands-on learning, mathematical foundations, Responsive Classroom) relevant to our school’s approach.
- First Aid and CPR certification (not required upon application).
Starting Salary Range: $55,000-$80,000

School Bus Drivers:
Starting Pay:
- $25.95/hour (0-2 years experience)
- $28.39/hour (2+ years experience)
Hours:
- Split shifts (typically 6:30am-8:30am and 3:00pm-5:00pm)
- Additional hours available based on Field Trip and Athletic schedules
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Class B driver’s license with School Bus and Passenger endorsements (preferred but not required – we will train)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Van Drivers:
Starting Pay: $20.01/hour
Hours:
- Split shifts (typically 6:30am-8:30am and 3:00pm-5:00pm)
- Additional hours available based on Field Trip and Athletic schedules
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class D driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Middle School Learning Specialist
We are seeking a full-time Learning Specialist to ensure that students with specialized learning needs make academic progress to succeed in the Middle School and gain lifelong learning tools while embracing the school’s mission. The role involves reviewing educational evaluations and implementing the recommendations, setting goals, creating and communicating classroom accommodations, collaborating with teachers, and providing regular communication with students and their parents about academic progress. The role also includes coaching students through the application of organizational, reading, math, and study strategies to help students achieve academic proficiency.
The Learning Specialist supports the Academy in the following areas:
Academic Support and Assessments
- Be knowledgeable of various best practices in teaching students with learning diagnoses (familiarity with the DSM-V).
- Create and manage student accommodation plans to address unique learning challenges.
- Track student progress and achievement with student accommodation plans in coordination with divisional student support teams.
- Coordinate and manage files and/or paperwork in relation to students with learning needs.
- Assist with administration of assessments for students with testing accommodations.
Instructional Coordination Responsibilities
- Meet with students individually or in a small group as needed for academic support, study skill enhancement, and use of approved assistive technologies.
- Interface with counselors, teachers, parents, administrators, and medical professionals, and school district special education personnel related to diagnoses and interventions for learning differences.
- Communicate with parents to suggest methods to utilize at home to enhance study skills and support their student’s academic success.
- Collaborate with other learning support personnel across the school divisions to ensure a continuum of academic support for students with learning needs.
Required Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong knowledge base in identifying and accommodating learning differences. Ideal candidates will have at least three to five years of middle school teaching experience, an understanding of differentiated instruction, a flexible and team-oriented approach, excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, and superior interpersonal skills.
