Marketing & Communications Coordinator
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for advancing the Academy’s mission through external marketing efforts and internal communication methods. This role is responsible for community awareness of and engagement with Providence Academy’s mission. This is a full time, 12-month position with benefits.
Supervisory Relationship
Reports directly to the Director of Advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide graphic design, layout, copywriting, editorial and distribution support for school publications, both print and digital, including the Academy’s weekly E-bulletin communication.
- Design, coordinate, and maintain all aspects of social media campaigns and electronic communications for various school efforts and serve as a liaison between the school and news media.
- Conduct regular website maintenance/editing and perform SEO analytics.
- Support the various departments, such as athletics, admissions, alumni, development, performing arts, etc., through the creation and distribution of marketing outreach and engagement materials as well as photography/videography needs.
- Participate in and attend Providence Academy events as it relates to supporting the position’s role and responsibilities.
- Serve as the photographer and videographer for the day-to-day activities and events at the Academy, and coordinate the production of videos and photographs for online use and publication in collateral materials.
- Collaborate with other staff, directors, and consultants regularly in both content design and strategy implementation.
- Ensure school brand and mission is evident in all outreach aspects, chiefly the Catholic, College Prep nature of the Academy.
- Perform related projects as assigned.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field(s) is required.
- Demonstrated experience with photography and videography, including editing and final production
- Experience working with external partners and agencies (i.e., mail houses, printers, Google, Facebook/Meta, Niche, etc).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Deep understanding and appreciation for the school’s brand, particularly it’s Catholic identity and dual presence in the Catholic school and Independent school marketplaces
- Demonstrated proficiency in desktop publishing (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Premiere Pro, and PowerPoint), social media platforms, WordPress, and creative web-based media software.

Security Officer
Providence Academy, a premier pre-K to 12 college preparatory school, located in Plymouth, MN is seeking a part time Security Officer.
Duties include school security and directing traffic.
Qualifications:

- Background in law enforcement and experience directing traffic.
- Permit to Carry or be HR 218 certified.
- Proven track record working with employees, parents and students in a collaborative environment, and a desire to work in a faith-filled Catholic environment.
Hours:
We are currently looking to fill rotating part-time or full-time shifts, 7:15 am – 9:00 pm most weeks, Monday through Friday, during the school year.
During school breaks, hours will be 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Shifts occasionally include weekend and evening events. No holiday or overnight coverage is needed.
