The PA faculty came back today! What a delight to be together again here, five months later, working joyful toward the return of the students next week! You can feel the love.
Next Wednesday brings the annual red-carpet welcome on the first day of school. As with everything these days, it will be a little different. We will be asking families to arrive, by last-name initial, in fifteen-minute increments over the course of an hour. We want to provide ample socially-distanced opportunities for the customary ceremonial welcomes, pictures with Lenny, and cheerful-tearful-waving goodbyes. While we’ll have more to communicate closer to that first day, I want to share those alphabetized arrival times here for your calendars:
- A-F arrive 8:00 am – 8:15 am
- G-K arrive 8:15 am – 8:30 am
- L-Q arrive 8:30 am – 8:45 am
- R-Z arrive 8:45 am – 9:00 am
Thank you in advance! We are so looking forward!
This Friday, as we wrap up our faculty preparation week, I will communicate with you from my office one last time this summer. We may have some last-minute info, and we’re sure to have some thoughts and good feelings to share!
