High school home volleyball and football games begin this week, and we’re so happy the kids are able to play.

The High School League, in conjunction with the Department of Health, has laid out some pretty strict attendance guidelines. No spectators can be admitted to volleyball games in Minnesota, and no more than 250 to football games. The 250 includes 175 home fans and 75 visitors. Attendance will be by ticket only, and each player for PA and our co-op schools will receive two tickets. There will be a small pool of additional tickets available for members of the senior class. We ask that only those with tickets show up in the stands or around the fences. Word from the High School League is that attendance must be monitored, under possible penalty of post-season home-field forfeiture. Let’s aim for two home playoff games right here.

Now for some better news! Our home volleyball and football games will be live webcast, and likely some away games too. There will be play-by-play announcing during the three home football game live streams, and other special spectator opportunities under consideration for both sports. Go PA Lions!
