On Thursday, December 3, College Counseling will host an evening program covering both college entrance testing and the college financial aid process. This program will be held virtually (via Google Meet) and will start at 6:30 p.m.
Ms. Carol Stack, an experienced financial aid professional and author of The Financial Aid Handbook, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Ms. Stack brings a wealth of experience to this topic as a past Director of Admission, college counselor, and consultant to multiple college enrollment and financial aid offices. The Financial Aid Handbook, now in a revised edition, is a top recommendation from PA’s college counseling department for any family thinking about financial aid and meeting college expenses. She is currently Managing Director and Principal with EAB, an educational consulting firm. We are so pleased Ms. Stack can join us.
Speaking second on December 3 will be Mr. Ron Michalak. Mr. Michalak is founder and president of Breakaway Test Prep, a leading provider of test preparation services for the SAT, ACT, PSAT and SAT Subject Tests in the Twin Cities. Breakaway currently partners with many independent schools and has developed the Twin Cities’ first and only ACT prep program for students with learning disabilities. Mr. Michalak has been a frequent speaker at our testing information nights, College Conversations programs, and in-class presentations to students on the college entrance testing process. We are so pleased to welcome Mr. Michalak back for this program.
