We invite PA Upper School parents to join our virtual College Day programming, scheduled for Wednesday, April 21 from 1:30 to 3:15 p.m.  Following last year’s unfortunate cancellation of this important annual event in the life of PA’s Upper School, we are very excited that College Day will return in a modified format in 2021. With a return to our traditional College Day format not yet possible, we have worked both on exclusive College Day programming on the afternoon of April 21 and collaborated with counseling colleagues at Catholic high schools across the Twin Cities to offer evening “Signature Virtual Events” open to families at all our schools.  Here is a summary of this programming:

  • Wednesday, April 21: PA College Day programming will include virtual college panels during Pink and White periods (1:30 to 3:15 p.m.) – conducted via Google Meet featuring college admission staff, Providence Academy alumni, and other professionals.  All students in Grades 9 to 11 will attend sessions in assigned classrooms and will receive a customized session schedule (based on session preferences submitted via Naviance Student survey).  All parents are invited to view panels of interest on April 21.  (see below).
  • Monday, April 19 – Thursday, April 22: Virtual College Exploration Signature Events (presented by the Twin Cities Consortium of Catholic High Schools) held each evening beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Click here to register for these virtual events (free, but required).  View the schedule of events below or view this PDF flyer for more detailed information about each panel:
    • Monday, April 19: Two-Year Community & Technical Colleges
    • Tuesday, April 20: Public College and Universities
    • Wednesday, April 21: Catholic Private Colleges and Universities
    • Thursday, April 22: Highly Selective College and Universities

All Signature Event panels begin at 6:30 p.m., with recordings available after.
