The appointments that college admission visitors typically schedule at Providence Academy in the fall to meet with interested (or curious) students will be conducted virtually this year. Colleges will schedule appointments at 3:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. Students will have the option to log on to 3:30 p.m. visits either from campus (in the Lecture Hall, using their own device) or from home. Students should plan to log in to 4:00 p.m. visits from home.

Colleges will host these appointments on the virtual platform that they designate (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, WebEx, etc). The virtual visit links will be accessible via Naviance Student starting a few minutes before the appointment. To access virtual appointments:

  • After logging into Naviance Student, go to Colleges main page
  • Scroll down to College Visits section and click on the Show More button
  • For virtual visits scheduled that day, you will see an active Virtual Visit Link hyperlink that you will use to access the virtual meeting room.

Please note that the links will also be shared in afternoon announcements and that students can also register for college visits in Naviance Student, and in that case will receive the virtual meeting link in a reminder email from the Naviance system.
