The anticipated occupancy date for the Providence Academy Dome is Thursday, November 15.

The Providence community can avoid the elements while remaining active this winter by walking in the dome. It is open every morning that school is in session from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Simply sign in at the security desk near the main office of the school and then proceed down to the dome. Get a group together for a fun time of fellowship or just take the time for your own health. Please always walk or run in the direction posted for that day and follow the other rules for the dome.

Families can also take advantage of this opportunity during Saturday Family Dome Time. Run around and have some fun on Saturday mornings without having to be all bundled up. This year, Saturday Family Dome Time is from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Simply come to the dome and go play. There is no charge for this activity.

During this time, the expectation is that we will have a safe family environment, so no hard baseballs, softballs, golf balls, or lacrosse balls. We also ask that the activities be contained to avoid interference with others playing. Parents may choose to walk the outer track while their children play inside the netting; however, we ask that this be a family time, so parents should not just drop off their children. The school is not offering supervision for your children.

We look forward to seeing many of you taking advantage of this opportunity for exercise out of the elements.
