Trap Shooting Parent Meeting: September 4 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Providence Parents,
The PA Trap team will be competing this fall!
Coach White has secured Park Sports for Providence after school every Friday in September and October.
We will have a parent meeting and practice session this Friday.
All Team members who were signed up for the spring season are encouraged to stop by and pick up your “Covid 2020” grey tee shirts from the spring season.
Bring your shotgun and fire off a few rounds so the new students and parents can see how it is done, the Providence way.
Any student 7th grade and up is also encouraged to attend this meeting.
To participate this fall new students will need to pass a safety course online and a practical test at one of our practice sessions. Coach White and myself can certify their eligibility for the fall season.
Trap Shooting is the safest high school sport and teaches young people safe handling and use of the shotgun.
Park Sports is located at County Road 6 and Highway 12 in Orono. It has four fields, allowing for different levels of expertise to shoot the clays and learn as a squad..
It is an excellent facility for new members and their families to be exposed to this lifelong sport. There is an indoor clubhouse to observe and converse with other parents in heated comfort as the practice sessions commence.
We look forward to seeing all of the spring season members and anyone who is considering participation this fall.
