A college counseling meeting during sophomore year is optional, but we recognize that the college search can unfold at a different pace for each student and are pleased to meet with sophomores who would find it helpful. This meeting will be with your assigned college counselor (as announced in September and shared again in a November 9 email), with families able to schedule appointments starting the week of November 9 and continuing through December 17 (Upper School finals begin on December 18). If you are not interested in a meeting at this time, know that we will offer another meeting window for sophomores in March/April 2021.
We can schedule meetings after school (3:20 p.m.) or during a study hall period when students have one in their schedule. We cannot pull students out of core academic classes or scheduled elective courses for college counseling meetings. Contact Mrs. Sally Peterson ( or 763-258-5505) to schedule your appointment.
