With the new NET Team arriving to PA on Monday, September 17, it’s time to begin looking for families who are willing to host the NET Team for two weeks during their stay. This is a great opportunity to help these missionaries create an even greater connection with our students. If you have any questions about what it is like to host the NET Missionaries for two weeks, check out the Frequently Asked Questions page on the PA Website.

If you are interested in hosting, please send your following responses to PA’s Campus Minister, Mr. Richard Carrillo.

1. Which dates would you like to host?
2. How many NET Team Members would you be interested in hosting?
3. Do you prefer to host men or women? (Or are you fine hosting either?)

Here are the dates for this semester:

  • September 30- October 14 – Housing needed for 2-4 guys and 2-4 girls (For one weekend, the male and female supervisors will be joining and two host families may be asked to accommodate one more person for three days.)
  • October 14-28 – Housing needed for 2-4 guys and 2-4 girls (This includes time over MEA weekend.)
  • October 28-November 11 – Housing needed for 2-4 guys and 2-4 girls (For one weekend, the male and female supervisors will be joining and two host families may be asked to accommodate one more person for three days.)
  • November 11-December 2 – Housing needed for 2-4 guys and 2-4 girls (This is a three week block, but the team will be gone for Thanksgiving (Nov. 21-25) and for the Senior Retreat (November 29-December 1).)

If a two-week stay isn’t a possibility, consider hosting the NET Team for just one day. Starting this semester, the NET Team will need a place to meet during their supervisor visits that is not on campus. The team will have already had breakfast before they arrive and will have a bag lunch, so the family would simply provide dinner for a total of 10 people (eight NET Team Members and two Supervisors).

In addition, they would need a place where the team can meet during the day, pray, and have frank conversations about the ministry in their own space.

The two dates that are needed are Monday, October 8, and Monday, November 12. If you are interested in hosting a day-long visit, send your date preference to PA’s Campus Minister, Mr. Richard Carrillo.
