Providence Academy will be hosting a free public screening of the film Screenagers: Next Chapter next Wednesday night, February 19 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  This documentary film follows physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston as she examines the science behind emotional challenges in teenagers during this digital age.  Particularly, the film highlights strategies we can use at home and in our school community to help young people navigate the challenges of heightened stress, anxiety, and depression.

The film is an excellent chance to engage in a family conversation about the benefits and challenges of screen time use, and parents are highly recommended to watch this film with their adolescent children.  Following the film, there will be a short panel discussion about the film.

If you have questions about the film, a description of the film can be found here and the trailer for the film can be found here.
