Providence Academy Parent Association

PAPA

The chief purpose of PAPA is to support, organize and develop events and activities, coordinate parent volunteerism, to assist in fundraising activities in cooperation with the Development Office, and to facilitate communication between the school and parents. All Providence Academy parents are a member in the association. The PAPA Executive Board consists of eight parents, selected by parents, and one faculty member, appointed by the Headmaster.

The 2022-23 PAPA Executive Committee

Mrs. Debbie Larson, President

Mrs. Debbie Larson currently serves as the PAPA President. Debbie has one daughter currently in middle school at Providence. Debbie started on the PAPA Board in 2019. She enjoys serving the school by participating in many of the activities and events.

Mrs. Dani Johansen, Executive Vice President

Mrs. Dani Johansen serves as the Executive Vice President and served previously as the Vice President Lower School (3-5). She is a proud Providence Academy alumna (’06), wife to Erik, and mom to Wilson (7th Grade), Mabel (1st Grade), and Dora (Pre-K). After Providence, Dani graduated from University of St. Thomas and has worked in several sales and commercial roles leading to her current commercial role at Cargill. In her free time, you can find her spending time with family on the boat in the summer or snowmobiling in the winter.

Mrs. Ginger Anzalone, Vice President - Upper School

Mrs. Ginger Anazlone serves as the Upper School representative to PAPA. Ginger has two children currently attending Providence. She has volunteered in many areas over the years at Providence and enjoys serving the school, its staff and families.

Mrs. Elizabeth Shnobrich, Vice President - Middle School

Dr. Elizabeth Schnobrich is currently serving as the Middle School vice president. Liz has three children, two of which attend Providence. Her family was new to Providence last year and she enjoyed volunteering on the Gala committee and at Grandparents Day. She is a clinical psychologist with experience in helping children and families.

Mrs. Hilary Sanborn, Vice President - Lower School (Grades 3-5)

Hilary is in her second year serving as Vice President of the Lower School (Grades 3-5).  She and her husband, Nick, have four children at Providence Academy.  Their oldest, Matthew, is entering 6th grade in the Middle School while their younger children are all in the lower school.  David is in 4th grade, Elizabeth is in 3rd grade and Peter is in first grade.  Hilary has been involved at PA by serving as a classroom representative in her children’s classes.

Mrs. Anne Jewison, Vice President - Lower School (Grades Pre-K-2)

Anne has three children at Providence and serves as Vice President – Lower School (Grades Pre-K – 2nd grade). She and her husband, Mike, have three children. All three kids are in lower school – Megan and Matthew are in 2nd grade and Emily is in kindergarten. Anne has gotten involved at PA by serving as a room parent, helping with Grandparents’ Day, and as a member of the Fall Fun Fair and Gala committees.

Mrs. Tina Wallman, Secretary

Mrs. Tina Wallman currently serves as the Secretary of PAPA. Tina has three children who attend Providence in Lower and Middle School. She has served in many volunteer roles at Providence – such as parent tour guide, PA Ambassador, (for prospective families) and member of the Fall Fun Fair committee.  Tina currently works in technology for a large healthcare company.

Mrs. Jackie Anderson, Treasurer

Mrs. Jackie Anderson currently serves as the PAPA Treasurer. Jackie has three children who attend Providence. She is a CPA that is currently employed at a public accounting firm. Her financial background will help the community as we continue to evolve in the financial aspects of PAPA.
