With the addition of snow, the parking lot can be an even tighter place to navigate. As the season progresses, the snow plows will attempt to move most of the snow on to the fields. Please watch your young children carefully as you cross to the parking lot and walk through the lot. Use the crosswalk area (the brick paved area) to cross over from the school to the parking lot. Keep in mind that it may be difficult for drivers backing cars up and driving through the lot to see small children walking. Be very aware and either hold your child’s hand or have them close to you as you walk. Young children trailing an adult is not a safe way to walk through an active parking lot. Please exercise caution and teach your young children to be aware of their surroundings as they walk through an active parking lot.
