We are very excited to share that Providence Academy has been recognized by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) with their highly selective “Safe Sports School” award. This honor is awarded to schools who display superior efforts to protecting their student athletes. On top of this, PA was awarded the First Team designation because we accomplished all of the required and recommended actions.

NATA President Tory Lindley said, “We are proud of the Safe Sports School award. It is not an easy award for which to qualify and you can be deservedly proud.”

PA Athletic Director Daren Messmore remarked, “It is such an honor to receive national recognition for the work we do, and it’s an affirmation to the high standards we hold for our Athletics program. Providing student-athletes with fun, safe, educational-based opportunities is our top priority, and I am very proud of the work we do in partnership with our coaches and athletic personnel to achieve this goal.”
