Details are as follows:
- Orientation for all new students and 6th grade students will be from 9am-noon, lunch will be served and paid for by PA.
- Returning 7th and 8th grade students may come in anytime from 9am-10:30am.
- ALL students must be in uniform for orientation, as students will be getting their school photos taken on orientation. Information to purchase photos will be sent at a later time.
Orientation for middle school starts with all 6th grade and new students getting dropped off and greeted by our middle school team at 9am! From there, each students will be brought to their ultima teachers classroom. The morning will be busy with getting schedules, lockers assignments, meeting teachers, taking school photos and finishing with lunch provided by Providence Academy. Students will be dismissed at noon. Students may bring in lockers items at this time,, it’s a great opportunity for them to set up their lockers. However, keeping binders and notebooks home to organize and label once they have their schedules is a great option as well.
Returning 7th and 8th grade students may check in anytime from 9:00am-10:30am to get their schedules, their school photo taken and set up lockers. If a student is renting a school chromebook, they will be able to pick this up at this time. Orientation for returning 7th and 8th grade students should take between 20-30 minutes.
In order to get your photo taken, you must be within grooming and uniform standards. Male students are expected to have groomed hair that is cut above the ears, off the collar, with at least half the forehead showing, and facial hair is not permitted. Female students should ensure their skirt should hang to at least the mid-knee. Please review the 24-25 Uniform Dress Code to ensure your students are prepared for orientation day photos as well as the school year!
