The Upper School has started to come back to life as teachers return and our student leaders and athletes return for fall activities. Meanwhile, we are busy making final preparations for Upper School Orientation, which will be held on Tuesday, August 27! Detailed orientation information has been mailed to all Upper School families, and below you will see a quick snapshot of the day’s schedule for students and parents. Note – All students must arrive in full uniform to participate in orientation activities.
- 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: All NEW students to the Upper School and ALL 9th grade students begin their day in the US Atrium. Then they will proceed with a day, full of getting acquainted with fellow students, teachers and the Upper School. Students will receive their class schedule, locker assignment and have an opportunity to locate each of their classrooms.
- 8:30-10:00 a.m.: Parents of students who are new to the Upper School and all 9th grade students gather in the Upper School Lecture Hall for a meeting with Upper School Director Mrs. Harrington and other members of the Upper School Support Team. This meeting will be an opportunity to meet other parents, find out more about daily life in the Upper School and answer questions.
- 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Students in grades 10-12 who are returning to PA will arrive any time between 10:00 a.m. and noon to check in, have their school picture taken, and to receive their class schedule and locker assignment.
