Parents, Faculty and Staff of Providence Academy are invited to nominate members of the parent community to open positions on the Providence Academy Parent Association Executive Committee.  Parents may also nominate themselves. Nomination forms (found here) are due Wednesday, April 10th 2019.

To learn more please attend the PAPA open house on April 9th, 8:30am in the great room. Members of the current Executive Committee will share about current open positions on the board and their experience being involved in PAPA.

For the 2019-20 School year, the Executive committee has 4 positions open.


2 year term: The president shall preside at all Executive Committee meetings of the association; meet with Headmaster for updates on how the parent community can support the school; assist with the Providence Academy Gala as needed and perform all other duties usually pertaining to the office.

Vice President

2 year term: The VP Shall assist the President as directed, preside at the Executive Committee meetings in the absence of the president; attend Executive Committee meetings; attend IMAC meetings; oversee Faculty Appreciation and Uniform Sale Coordinators; update and maintain the volunteer needs on the PAPA Sign up Genius.

Vice President Upper School

2 year term: The VP of the Upper School shall attend Executive Committee meetings; meet with Upper School Director on how to support the upper school; coordinate chairpersons for the Father Daughter, Mother Son events as well as the Advent Boutique;  stay connected to what is happening in the upper school and report to Executive Committee at monthly meetings.

Vice President Lower School 3-5th Grade

2 year term: The VP of the Lover School works in conjunction with the Lower school VP of the PreK-2nd grades.  They meet with the Lower School Director on how to support the Lower School; attend the Executive Committee meetings; coordinates the Lower schools classroom representatives and finds Chairpersons for all Lower School events.
