All parents are invited to attend the annual PAPA Gala on Saturday February 9—a wonderful evening of fun and friends, new and old, that supports our beloved Providence Academy! Event tickets may still be purchased online.
In addition to event attendance, learn about other ways you can support this year’s gala!
Give for Growth
Providence Academy continues to enhance affordability for our families and provide better access to more who share a commitment to the school’s mission and values. This year’s Fund-A-Need benefits all in the Providence Academy community and everyone is invited to participate!
Each dollar raised through the Fund-A-Need will be directed to minimize the 2019-2020 tuition increase by one percent or more for all of our current students, and help us grow to welcome new ones.
Your tax-deductible donation can be made during the Fund-A-Need at the event. If you are unable to attend the gala, please contribute by utilizing the reply card included in your invitation or donate online.
Auction Preview Available Online
This year’s gala includes a wonderful variety of auction items to suit all interests. The online preview is updated frequently, so take a look often and plan your bidding strategy in advance!
FAQs About the Gala
How is Seating Determined?
Tables seat eight and guests receive their table assignments at check-in the evening of the event. If you have a preference of who you’d like to sit with, we will do our best to accommodate—simply note it on your RSVP. Many people don’t make a seating request at all. In that case, we’ll arrange a lovely table for you, typically with other parents from your child’s grade or division.
What Should I Wear?
The PA gala is a formal event. Black tie attire is invited, but guests will feel comfortable in other options. Ladies wear a variety of dresses from evening gowns to cocktail dresses to “little black dresses.” Gentlemen wear tuxedos, dinner jacket and trousers, or business suits.
Cash, Check, or Credit at the Event?
Heads or Tails ($20 per chance) and Drink/Cigar Tickets ($5-$20) require payment by cash or check only. Auction purchases can be charged to your bid number and settled by cash, check, or credit card.
