We are glad that the very restrictive policies on high school sports attendance have eased. PA will take advantage of the easing at our home basketball and hockey games for our parents and guests.

As with most things in COVID time, though, easing doesn’t mean “easy.”

The new rules will allow us to accommodate 4 family members or guests per PA player, while still accounting for a 6-foot spectator spacing between other spectators. To enhance home-fan opportunities, we’ve been accommodating smaller numbers of visitors, and will continue to do so under the new policy.

We will start welcoming our students on Thursday, February 18, when our girls basketball team hosts Princeton High School. For the student section, we will begin by prioritizing seniors. There will be a signup sheet in the upper school office.

Precisely how the new regulations will be applied at the Plymouth Ice Center is being investigated. Technically, all of PIC with its three ice rinks is considered a single venue. AD Daren Messmore is working on this, and is in contact with hockey families.
