It is a Providence Academy Lower School tradition to provide warm mittens (or gloves), hats and scarves for children in need. Minnesota winters are cold and warm hats and gloves are a necessity that are difficult for many families to afford. Students are invited to share the warmth this season by bringing in new items to hang on the Mitten Tree in the Library. Your generous gifts will be shared with the homeless children living at Mary’s Place shelter (Caring and Sharing Hands) in Minneapolis.
