With a heart full of affection and appreciation, I share news of a new opportunity for Mr. Kyle Rickbeil to serve as K-8 principal of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in West Saint Paul.  Mr. Rickbeil has helmed PA’s Middle School for 6 years, a period of significant development in the Middle School’s programs and the solidifying of a full faculty devoted to Middle School students.  He is a dear colleague, friend and adviser to me and to many of us.  His joyful spirit and unstinting optimism are clearly grounded in the hope Christ brings, and have been infectious. We are so grateful to Kyle, pleased at his new leadership opportunity, and so pleased that he and his family and his gifts will continue to find their homes in the Twin Cities.

And with pleasure, I announce that Mrs. Teresa Claypool will succeed Mr. Rickbeil as Middle School Director.  Mrs. Claypool is known to us all as a leader here, formally as MS Dean for several years and informally in many ways.  She is known also as a consummate teacher, one who is knowledgeable, skilled in pedagogy, passionate, and compassionate.  She has a strong understanding of our curriculum, its philosophy, and its vertical growth through the Divisions.  She connects head and heart, intellect and faith in all interactions, and is a beloved colleague.  I’m sure you’ll join me in welcoming Mrs. Claypool in this great new adventure.
