• Financial Aid and College Entrance Testing Info. Night:  Upper School Parents are invited to an in-depth workshop covering the college financial aid and scholarships process on December 5 at 6:30 p.m.  College financial aid and test preparation professionals will be joining us for these back-to-back presentations.
  • College Entrance Testing (PSAT/ACT/SAT/AP): We acknowledge that the global pandemic effected several policy changes by college admission offices to offer students greater flexibility to apply for admission without test scores. Also, with many colleges continuing ‘test optional’ policies put in place for the most recent graduating classes, we know there are many questions and unknowns. Our advice to the Classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026 is to continue to plan on completing college entrance testing this year, exploring test prep options, taking a practice SAT or ACT this fall (see below), and registering for the ‘real’ ACT or SAT this school year. For AP Exams, (some) sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to register for AP exams this year, which will be administered in May 2023.  The registration process for AP exams will begin in October (details to follow). Students should contact Mrs. McMullin (PA’s AP Coordinator), with any questions.
  • College Visit Field Trip in November: Upper School students (especially Juniors and Sophomores) are invited to a PA-sponsored college trip to the University of Minnesota and Bethel University – two local campuses on November 3 during the school holiday for parent-teacher conferences.  Departure will be at approximately 7:45 a.m. and we will return by 4:00 p.m.  Lunch will be included at no cost to students.  Registration will open soon.
